I used to live alone and I own a business so housework is at the bottom of my list.

Once I get home, get all the critters fed, eat and prep for the next day, I’m ready for bed. Weekends are my only time to clean and some months I have events going on so I don’t get weekends.

My grand daughter was visiting for a few days, it was the first time I’d gotten more than a couple of hours with her in a while. I came home from work, she was waiting for me with the garage door open to say hello. When I got in the house the dryer was running. I asked if she needed to run more loads of her clothes and she said no, she’d taken care of my laundry while she was waiting. She’d also taken out the trash and ran a load of dishes.

I was surprised at how good that made me feel to be the recipient of what felt like a multitude of riches.
